Someone hears you do great work. They search your name, find no website and an out-of-date Google listing, and call the next shop instead. I fix that for a flat monthly fee, and you never have to touch a computer.
30–65%of trades like repair, HVAC and plumbing have none at all
~halfof referred customers hesitate and check a competitor when they find nothing online
You already earned the referral. A website and a correct Google listing are what keep it from leaking to the shop down the road.

Where I work
Local, and only local
I only take on businesses within about 45 miles of Almont, so I know the towns your customers are searching from.
No. Found On The Map works entirely by email, on purpose. It keeps the price where it is, and you can answer at 9pm instead of stopping a job.
What do you need from me?
Your services, hours, and photos if you have them. If not, I'll work from what's already public on your Google listing and you tell me what to fix.
Who owns the site?
You do. Your content, your photos and your web address are yours. If you leave, I'll send you a copy of everything.
Can you promise I'll rank first on Google?
No, and anyone who promises that is guessing. I make sure your listing is complete and accurate and that you have a real website, which is what Google and customers both look for.
How is my information handled?
I only use what you send me and what's already public about your business. I never sell it. Payments go through Stripe, so I never see your card. The full details are in the privacy policy.
What kinds of businesses don't you take?
Medical, legal and financial advice practices, which have extra advertising rules, plus anything illegal, adult, or built to mislead people. The full list is in the terms.
How do I cancel?
Reply "cancel" to any email. Billing stops at the end of your current month, and you keep a copy of your site.

Tell me about your business
This opens an email to me with your answers filled in. Nothing is sent until you hit send.
Found On The Map ("I", "me") builds websites and manages Google Business Profiles for local businesses. This policy explains what information I handle and what I do with it.
What I collect
Public business information such as a business's name, address, phone number, hours, public email, photos and reviews as published on Google and similar public directories. I use this to find businesses that may want my services and to build previews.
What you send me, such as your contact details, business details, photos, logos and messages.
Payment information, which is handled entirely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
Basic site statistics for client websites, such as visit counts, used only to write your monthly report.
How I use it
To contact businesses by email about my services, using publicly listed business contact information.
To build, run and update the websites and listings clients pay for.
To bill clients and keep business records required by law.
What I never do
I never sell or rent your information.
I never share it except with services needed to deliver the work (Google, Stripe, my email and web hosting providers), or when legally required.
I never put third-party advertising on client websites.
Email
Every email I send includes my mailing address and a way to opt out. Reply "STOP" and I will not email you again. I honor opt-outs immediately.
Automation
I use software, including AI tools, to help find businesses, draft emails and build site previews. A person reviews outgoing emails, and these tools only work with the information described above.
Keeping and deleting information
I keep client records while you're a client and as long as tax and business law requires afterward. Prospect records for businesses that never became clients are deleted within 12 months of last contact. Email me to ask what I hold about you or to have it deleted, and I will respond within 30 days.
Security
Accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to what's needed to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and I'll notify affected clients promptly if a breach affects their information.
Children
My services are for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, I'll update the date above and email clients about significant changes. Questions: vincent@foundonthemap.com · PO Box 17, Almont, MI 48003.
These terms apply when a business ("you") uses Found On The Map ("I", "me") for a website, Google Business Profile management, or related add-ons. By paying for a plan you agree to them.
The service
I build and host a website for your business, set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, and provide the other features of the plan you choose. Work is done by email. Free previews carry no obligation.
Billing and cancelling
Plans bill monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. One-time add-ons are billed once when ordered.
You can cancel anytime by email. Service continues to the end of the period you've paid for. Yearly plans cancelled early are refunded for full unused months.
If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, I may pause the site until it is.
Founding-client price locks last as long as your plan stays active without a break.
Ownership
You own your business name, logo, photos, written content and web address.
Logos and custom designs made for you under a paid add-on belong to you once paid for.
I keep ownership of my underlying templates and code, and license them to you for your site while you're a client. If you leave, I'll send you a copy of your site's content and images.
Your responsibilities
Information you give me must be accurate, and you must have the right to use any photos, logos or text you provide.
Licenses, certifications, warranties or awards will only be shown on your site if you provide them and confirm they're current.
You're responsible for the claims your business makes about its own products and services.
What I won't build
I may decline or remove content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, impersonates another business, includes fake or paid reviews, or makes medical, legal or financial claims. I don't take on businesses in those fields or any business whose main purpose is misleading people.
No guarantees on results
I'll do the work carefully and honestly, but I can't guarantee search rankings, call volume or sales, which depend on Google and on factors outside my control.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid me in the three months before it arose, and I'm not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes, disputes and contact
I'll email clients at least 30 days before any change to these terms or to your price. These terms are governed by Michigan law. Questions: vincent@foundonthemap.com · PO Box 17, Almont, MI 48003.
